OUTSTANDING This is the perfect atmosphere for friends and family or with your loved ones. A trendy restaurant with a cozy/friendly feel. The wait staff are very knowledgeable and eager to help you start enjoying your night. The drinks are marvelous... if you like martinis then I tell you, you will love these... they taste like you are drinking soda or juice. The food... well when is eating fondue not fun? There are many different types of seasonings, and sauces you can put on your meats or spread on your vegetables. I would give this restaurant a 5 out of 5 stars. [06 Oct 2004 15:56:10]

GREAT PLACE! This is a great restuarant, whether you are looking for a place for a girl's night out or a cozy place just for the two of you. This is the place. I went there last night for the first time and was SO IMPRESSED! The service was great, the drinks were great (Funky Monkey is awesome) and the food well, when is fondue not fun! The atmosphere was great and the wait staff were helpful, pleasant, and offered great service! [15 Jan 2005 14:28:54]

Best place in town We love hanging out at the Fondue Room. Huge bar, that serves great martinis. Swanky booths, and a cozy atmosphere. One of my favorite restaurants. [15 Mar 2005 16:34:18]

Stay away We arrived at 7PM. Our group had 12 adults but the largest table could only sit 8 and you couldn't put the tables together. So two couples had to sit apart from the group. It was after 9 PM when we the food finally arrived. The appetizer fondue was only melted cheese with croutons. I ordered tenderloin medallions with potatoes and vegetables. I was stunned when they set a plate of raw meat in front of me, which I was supposed to cook myself in a pot of hot oil. Has anyone ever deep-fried tenderloin? The waitress rattled off instructions for how long each item was supposed to be cooked. We asked for more skewers but were told they ran out. Every item in the meal you were supposed to cook yourself in a pot of hot oil. It was terrible. When it was time for the "fondue" dessert they said they "ran out" of milk chocolate. This meal was expensive especially considering the fact that you had to cook it yourself. Conclusion: The worst dining experience of my life. [01 May 2005 10:14:31]

Don't Stay Away! I had a wonderful experience at the Fondue Room. It was cozy, the food was fresh and tasty, and the staff was great. I found the review from "Stay away" pretty interesting, as many of her complaints were just silly based on the fact that she was dining at a fondue restaurant. It's like complaining about the raw fish at a sushi restaurant. It also seems to me that it would be impossible to move tables that are obviously "hooked up" in some way to provide heat for the fondue pots. My children consider a dinner at a fondue restaurant a special treat. This is definately not the closest for us, but we consider it to be the best. My eight year old daughter will be there tonight with her grandparents to celebrate her recent birthday. Consider it another good experience unless you hear otherwise! [21 Oct 2005 11:37:53]
