A classy Chinese restaurant
The menu is not massive. There are not ten items under each catagory. However Jasmine's limited menu is outstanding. The food is prepared in an innovative style.

Not so great
Not too impressed with the food here. We ate here on a Friday night and although the tables weren't full, there were two servers and the service was horrible.

The food was mediocre - not innovative, but plain and boring - I ate the tofu pad thai and my husband a beef dish. Substandard - just plain and boring for the price. I expected something small and homemade and really to knock your socks off.    [06 Oct 2007 12:29:23]

'been there once and liked it
Last October we ordered fried rice, General Tso's chicken, and Stir-fry Tofu (deep-fried tofu cubes w/mixed vegetables and pine nuts). The chicken was good, a little bit gingery tasting. Stir-fry tofu was great, I liked the combination of crispy and crunchy. Fried rice, strongly recommended by a local, was excellent, could it be the butter is the secret??? We emptied all the dishes, I guessed that because they are not only tasty, also probably only enough for 4 of us to share.

Last note, their door makes loud noise, and the service is no different from other Chinese restaurants. I mean I wish the waiters/waitresses were as enthusiastic as at other restaurants.    [18 Jan 2008 01:17:19]
