I absolutely love this place. I've had several dishes here and we return at least a couple times a month.

Almond Chicken - Superb!
Sesame Chicken - Yummy!
Sweet and Sour Chicken - Good! (not a fan of the pineapple and green pepers and onions in it but the sauce and meat is good)
The fried rice is very tasty and not dry.
Egg Rolls are the BEST I have had in this area.

The Best Chinese!
I've been going to Kim's Gardens for years. I have never been disappointed. Steak Kow, Almond Chicken, Sweet and Sour Pork....this place is THE best Chinese I have ever had. Service is always excellent.    [12 Jan 2007 10:11:23]

We were new to the area and just wanted some good Chinese that was close. The lady at the post office recommended it 'cause it's right up the street and it just so happened to be some of the best I've had EVER!

We were very disappointed! not recommended
After reading these reviews here about Kim's Gardens, our family went to this restaurant. We ordered sesame chicken, almond chicken and fried rice.

To tell you the truth, they didn't taste as we expected. It's even worse than most of the Chinese fast food places you find inside Malls. The quantity served was awfully small. Finally the waitress was very rude and uncooperative. I won't recommend this restaurant to anyone.    [03 Feb 2007 18:13:46]

We were disappointed as well
Our family went to Novi for Christmas and stayed at the Barriot very nice, but we went to Kim's Gardens on my recommendation. I was embarrased that I did that. I have gone to Kim's for 25 years and I have always loved it. It was horrible food, horrible seating, horrible service. This restaurant has changed and I will never go back. First of all, my family has been going to Kim's for about 15 years and we have never had a problem. Second, Chinese food is prepared differently at different places, what you get at one place may not necessarily be exactly what you get at the next. Last, anytime we go there, we have leftovers for days. Next time you're looking for good Chinese, I would suggest anything at Kim's, it is all great, quickly prepared, and the portions are HUGE.    [17 Jun 2007 16:54:19]
