Excellent Lunch
I met a friend here yesterday. Most Applebee's at which I've dined have been good, so I expected that my 40 minute drive would not be in vain. It wasn't. I haven't had lunch at this chain for some time, and they have some great - and tasty - meals for reasonable prices. I opted for the grilled shrimp spinach salad with a bowl of tomato basil soup and my friend had a chicken caesar with the same soup.

Other than music that was far too loud (we walked in at the tail end of the lunch rush) everything was quite nice. The shrimp was nice and hot, as was the soup, and the presentation was great. Excellent service rounded out a nice chat and a tasty lunch. I picked up the tab, and as we both drank just water, it came to a whopping $12.60 - not bad for two people.    [22 Jun 2007 06:19:14]
