Awesome Burgers!
Not much for ambience, unless you like all of the devil decorations and the faux flame cauldrons, but what would you expect from a pub found in the famous hamlet of Hell, Michigan? Seating for about 75 in the smoking section, with a smaller non-smoking area, the food is straight bar fare, but my, oh my, what a wonderful burger!

I had the Smitty's Burger (complete with Smitty's 'secret' sauce, which is heavy on sweet relish with possibly some chutney and orange marmalade in it). Talk about a huge burger! Take it without cheese, it does not come with tomato or lettuce, either. Just wonderful.

The pizza here is also quite good. I stopped for lunch, but there's obviously music at least on the weekend evenings. Shop for hellish attire or souveniers at the Hell General Store or Screams Ice Cream Parlor, which features Hershey's Ice Creams (the crunchy cappucino was great!). Get your picture taken with one of the ghoulish cut-outs behind Screams. When you get home, you can tell your friends that you've been to Hell and back!    [09 May 2007 07:04:22]

Glad I returned
1st time back in several years. Decor still the same but it is Hell and it is a bar. The burgers and steak sandwich were very flavorful. Surpisingly improved food. I was there with several others whom all agreed the dishes were well prepared.
