Home cooked!
Jody's has any number of good ol' home cooked American meals. Most of the meals/ingredients are made fresh ther every day and that's not always the case in today's fast flying food scene. AMAZING!!
Jody's is my favorite restaurant in Rockford,. They have great food and it is served fast. Hint- that is why their motto is "Great Food, Served Fast." I love Jody's and I eat there about 1-2 times a week!    [18 Oct 2006 16:24:24]

Small Portions
Having only been in the area for a short time, I had heard such positive things about Jody's. I was very disapointed in the size of a grilled cheese I had ordered for my daughter. I had only gotten her that and a Lemonade and spent $4. I now go to McDonald's across the street to get a grilled cheese (a bun with the pieces turned with the breading facing out) for $1.    [03 Dec 2006 08:06:40]

Quality
I have spoken with many of those who work at Jody's, asking about the prices of the food, and the overwhelming assertion is that the quality of the food, the homemade bread, etc. validates the extra doller that you will be spending on your meal.
