Best Restaurant in the Area
After visiting terrific Italian restaurants in Chicago, and knowing what contemporary Italian should be, D'Amato's exceeded my expectations. The number of choices were just right, the presentation was artful and the taste was refined and satisfying. The waiter was knowledgeable, friendly and timely. I was impressed by the warm and inviting decor and loved the long window views. The jazz and martini bar next door (Goodnite Gracie) was a great after dinner spot to relax and sip a libation. I highly recommend D'Amato's, it gets four stars in my book.    [08 May 2005 18:07:16]

Fine Food, Comfortable Atmosphere
Very good food, good service and comfortable atmosphere. This is where I end up going for 90% of my dinners with my wife. We dabble in other establishments, but keep coming back to D'Amato's. Reasonable price for the excellent quality of food.    [06 Jul 2005 13:18:52]
