For those new to the concept, at a Mongolian Barbecue the diner picks from a wide array of various raw meats, vegetables, sauces, and seasonings and then presents it to the cook who stir fries it over very high heat. (Changing plates to avoid cooked food contacting raw food.)

The assortment of ingredients to choose from at bd's is amazing. Steak, pork, lamb, scallops, shrimp, chicken, tofu, and every vegetable under the sun. Sauces range from mild to mega-hot. The cooking process takes about 3 minutes. (Don't forget to tip the kid and insist that he bang the 'tip gong'.)

The restaurant provides a list of recommended recipes or make it up as you go. There are literally millions of combinations you can create, so you won't get bored anytime soon.

You can order either one plate or the all-you-can-eat option for just a little more. Either way, you will get out of there for under 10 bucks.
