Ehhh
I stopped back in after 5 years, thinking the service could have improved. By this I mean that last time I was there the roof was leaking on me and my father in-law; and when we said something we got a " oh well" response.

Today we took our 4 year old in, was told that the train wouldn’t be turned on because the waitress doesn’t like it, and my wife’s order was mixed up with another table. She liked her dish, but was uncomfortable because the 4 year old and I had finished long before we got her lunch. On the bright side she was offered a free coke, for the mistake the waitress had made. Suppose we could have made an issue of this, but then what’s the point of going there to relax like their ad says? Expensive prices for average food.    [18 Mar 2005 13:25:42]

Great Service at the Bar
Don't forget you can eat at the bar... the best server is at the bar on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. Good luck on the other days. but I eat there alot and no I don't work there. That Louie won't give up anything for free but I'll give them a 2 thumbs up for their food some of the best on the east side.    [04 Apr 2006 19:50:23]

Half-off pizza
We go there mostly for the 1/2 off pizza Mondays - you can even it get it to go, and it's awesome! The rest of the food is average, and normal prices are average. Waitstaff is terrible - very slow and not very friendly    [19 May 2006 16:46:04]

I love the ribs
My girlfriend and I love the ribs. We visit just for the ribs. When you get them they look like a picture perfect idea of what the best ribs look like. The service is OK, and I mean that in the most nonchalant way. The atmosphere is decent with the clever signs hanging on the walls. It's Definitely Worth a Visit
Just started going back to this place in Oct 2006 and we're hooked ... the pizza has been Xcellent every time - the Spinach Artichoke Quesadilla is the best with the tomatoes on top - and make sure to try the sweet potatoe fries! The beers' been cold, the mixed drinks potent :-) and we haven't had any bad waitresses or waiters. (I think we've been there about 5 times just between Dec and Jan.)

We prefer the 4:30/5pm dinner hour... not so crowded and hectic. Love the "up-north" atmosphere - you just better be OK with having a deer over your head, or one staing at you while you're eating! Definitely a bar with a restaurant, but with wayyy better food than most bars!    [29 Jan 2007 12:36:24]

A great place to go!!
My family and I have been going there for sometime now, we really enjoy the 1/2 off pizza night on Mondays! I have never had any bad service or food. The waitstaff are all friendly. We also like to eat outside which is also nice and cozy. Would recommend going there.    [14 Jun 2007 19:00:51]
