Horrible Service, Rude Owner, Mediocre food.
Food took over an hour to arrive, the server was both unattentive and messed up the orders; when we brought up the poor service to the owner, he was excessively rude and more concerned about arguing with us than trying to resolve the situation. My steak sandwich was only average. I would recommend that people run, not walk away from this establishment. The Brecon, quite good.

Best Beer Cheese Soup
We have only had one dish (steak sandwich) that we did not enjoy at the Brecon Grille. The burgers are delicious and the beer cheese soup is absolutely fabulous - and is the primary reason we return. The service has always been spectacular. On our last visit, we had an infant with us and when our server saw the baby drop his pacifer on the floor, she brought us a cup of steaming hot water to disinfect the pacifier in. Our favorite place to go
Every time we've been there, Brecon Grille has had friendly service, and tasty food. The salads are generous and not nasty iceberg lettuce like so many places serve. The appetizers, burgers, and entrees have all been good, as have the desserts. Great tiramasu for a pub.    [30 Oct 2007 11:49:57]

Great Place

The Brecon Grille seemed good years ago and we tried it again last night. It was bad.

It was unoomfortably cold outside, but the Brecon Grille had their AIR CONDITIONING on! It was MISERABLE!

They FORGOT the chicken on my wife's chicken pasta, and gave her a cracked beer mug. My salmon had no sauce and was quite unremarkable. It came with rice (ok) and bare, unadorned, boring green beans, and while edible wasn't much more.    [10 Aug 2008 19:15:34]

Great owner and good, solid food
One time when my husband and I were there, he dropped his wedding ring between the booth and the wall. The owner actually took the booth apart in order to return the ring to us. The food has been steadily good, and the service has always been terrific. We live down the road, and we feel that it's a nice way to "go out" without breaking the bank. STUPENDOUS
