Best Burgers Around
This place has the best food for a tavern or bar: the owner has some excellent cooks. For an 8-foot kitchen, they really kick out the good food. They have excellent daily specials, like the Thursday all-you-can-eat-wings, you cannot go wrong. Not only do they have great food, they have a great variety of beers and spirits, to wash down the yummy food. Dan's is located in the heart of downtown Saline, and is the last of the working man's bars in the city- everyone else has gone fancy and expensive.

Dan's philosophy is "large plates of food, a good drink and some good sports, for a good fair price." If you want a good pizza that's not been frozen, then you will like Dan's pizza. Prices are modest- four people can usually eat for around $25-$50, depending on what you order, and what you drink. Karaoke on Friday nights by Gypsy.

This place is completely local. Nice beer selection. It is a fun place to people watch. Lots of typical bar food. It is very casual- you can wear your sweats here. Lots of TVs for watching the game. Wait staff is better than average in attentiveness.

It's a nice bar; can be smoky, but I would go there again. Don't go there just for the meal however. Go there to drink, and if you need to eat, this place can more than accommodate you.    [03 Nov 2007 20:41:31]
