Ken's Cozy Cafe is worth the drive!
We found Ken's by perusing the Internet for a breakfast restaurant to try, and saw Ken's listed there. We live in Oakland Co., and thought, "You mean we have to drive to Macomb Co. to find a good breakfast place?" Well, it was worth the drive! I love their pancakes w/ strawberries. These are the best pancakes I have EVER eaten! My husband loves their omelets with the American Fries on the side, as well as a side of ham. The coffee is what really got us, too. You can't have a good breakfast place without good coffee! Their portions are perfect! On most days, you will find the owner coming around to the different tables checking to make sure all is well. Ken's is my all-time favorite breakfast place, even beating out my favorite country-style, chain, has a country-store-in-their-restaurant place.    [23 Oct 2005 09:06:14]
