Great Food On The Go
Son and I were on our way back to northwestern MI on a late Sunday night. We were both starved, doubted any restaurants were open, and wanted something different than fast food. We saw the signs for Ma's Coffee Pot and 24 hours. The atmosphere reminded me of the mom and pop diners of long ago. The food was great and was served with a smile. Bathrooms were a bit dark and dingy but other than that it was GREAT!    [16 Feb 2005 16:04:40]

Great breakfast!
Ma's has divine breakfasts! I've eaten there several times and I love their Belgium waffles and their big pancakes! The veggie omelette with cheese is really good...I always have them make mine with egg beaters.

I like the fact that they always give good portions for the money. The atmosphere is "down home".

I did eat dinner there once (stuffed cabbage was on special) with blueberry cobbler. It was great, too.    [26 Apr 2005 13:21:03]

blast from the past
This place is cute, cozy, and looks the same way it probably did 20 or 30 years ago. Service was excellent, the cherry pie ala mode was even better! This place is a rare gem in a sea of fast food and lackluster chain restaurants. Ma's is the real deal. We'll be back!    [17 Nov 2006 18:10:17]

Wow ! Great food and service!

A special place!
When we drove up we had no idea what to expect. Walked in and were greeted with big smiles and great comfort food. Its nice to see this old place still survives today and food was so inexpensive. You have to go for the blueberry pancakes.    [20 Oct 2007 01:03:13]
