I went solo on my birthday to this delightful place. I just wanted to see what the hoopla was all about. When I sat down it was at opening time and no one was in the place but me and staff members. I was greeted courtiously, and made welcome. A short time later my waiter, who I forgot his name, brought me corn muffins and cornbread. When I bit into this sweet delacacy I knew I had to only have one as it would spoil my appetite. A short time later my baby back ribs arrived with my greens, pole beans, and potato salad. Lawdy have mercy, I was in heaven all by myself. The ribs were hot and juicy with that homemade tangy semi-sweet sauce, the other sides were equally hot and mouth watering. As I sat there literally enjoying every morsal that was going down my palate, I enjoyed the background music of the fifties soul being played for my pleasure. I say this because it was my birthday. What a wonderful day to start off with, a delicious meal that I couldn't finish.
