Friendly Service, Good Food, Great view of the lake
This may very well be the best place to eat in the greater Stanton, Michigan area. The food is good, reasonably priced, and served by a friendly staff. If one is available, I recommend you secure a table on the deck for a great view of Clifford Lake. If the weather is a bit to chilly or wet, there are also several tables inside that overlook the lake.    [25 May 2005 23:46:15]

Not impressed
Really mediocre food at fine dining prices. Salads made with old and limp lettuce, soup was absolutely tasteless.

Valentine
We were a table of 6 couples with reservations for Valentines dinner. Arrived at 6:30 and ordered drinks, got our drinks and didn't see anyone until 7:30 when we ordered our meal, dinners started to arrive at 8:30 one and two plates at a time. Out of the 12 of us we received 1 undercooked fish, 1 cold steak ( sent back and returned still cold) 4 dried out microwaved vegetables, some nasty onion soup, and instant mashed potatoes. The last dinner arrived after everyone else was finished eating, my friend took it in a take out box.

West Michigan's Best Kept Secret
Have been going to the Inn for years and since the recent renovations, the food, service, and atmosphere are second to none. Big city class with country small town charm. Beautiful lakeside setting with 125+ year old historic charm. Best use of our money in a long time.    [23 Sep 2008 21:32:10]
