Long wait, but yummy
Stopped in here for a late lunch on a summer afternoon. We ordered beer and sandwiches: the beer came promptly, but the sandwiches took about 45 minutes, which was odd, considering the place was half empty. The waitstaff was friendly, though, and handled a few flirtatious (drunken?) sailors with admirable restraint. Well-placed TVs allowed the whole party to watch the Tiger game - so that was some consolation for the long wait.

When the food came, it was great. We also heard they are now connected with Giovanni's in Interlochen, so we hope a revival of that once-fine establishment is in the works.    [12 Sep 2007 22:38:44]
