Disappointing dinner
This was one of my most disappointing dinners ever. After we were seated we did not see our waiter for the first 15 minutes. There were a lot of guys and girls running around singing Happy Birthday to customers. Also, at one point about 5 girls stood on chairs to do the Lambada dance. I thought our waitress was among those performing so thought they were just busy. Finally, our waiter, Matt, shows up.

We never got the Lobster dip appetizer we ordered- it finally got cooked after our main dishes were ready so I told Matt to forget it. Matt forgot our silverware and straws for our drinks too. He forgot to bring my twice baked potatoes until I asked and the bottom half of the potatoes were cold. My wife's coconut shrimp were burtnt and she had to ask for a replacement. These coconut shrimps were extremely puny- nothing to brag about. When I complained about the food and service the manager only apologized but never tried to make things right.

Matt never even asked if we wanted any dessert. We couldn't wait to get out of there. We'll never go back to Joe's Crab Shack.    [02 Aug 2004 16:12:32]
