Decent Middle Eastern Food The karnabeet was uncooked but the falafel/hummus/tabooleh sandwich more than made up for that. The hummus was smooth and garlicky, and the tabooleh was quite fresh.
My dining mate had one of the fresh juice drinks and was really happy with it, Manjo & something on ice. [03 Feb 2006 11:23:05]

Great mediterranean food - food (not atmosphere) alternative to a less expensive La Shish and much better food than Ahmo's or Ali Baba's Loved the karnabeet. Lots of attention by the chef. She often will introduce herself, and ask for suggestions. For example, we weren't happy with the "canned" type of vegetables in one of our dishes, and she offered to cook up some fresh tomatoes and green and red peppers and onions next time we come in. The atmosphere is a converted coney island, and can be cold in the winter, and smokey. We understand that it will be going non-smoking this summer, however. (yes!) [03 Apr 2006 17:31:16]
