Good Home-style food Chick-Inn is a great old style drive in restaurant with servers who come to your car and serve you there. The food is good, and the price is right. GREAT MILKSHAKES!!! [19 Oct 2004 15:13:13]

Awesome Food Ypsilanti's best Kept secret. Located on the corner of Holmes and Prospect this 50's style diners offers great Curb side service and their Paul Bunyon Burger and Onion Rings are among the best I ever had. The foot long hot dogs are wonderful everything on their menu is four star for excellent fast food [24 Mar 2005 12:36:54]

Hometown Favorite My dad has been going to the Chick-Inn since he moved to Michigan in the 60's. He has been taking me there since I can't remember when. My dad's favorite is the infamous Paul Bunyan I always liked the footlongs. Chick-Inn is a great place to take the family or to go with friends. [29 Jun 2005 10:10:06]

A trip back in time After driving past Chick-Inn a few times a year for nearly 20 years, I finally stopped in a few weeks ago.
Boy, do I feel dumb- I should've pulled in YEARS ago. Chick-Inn captures the ambiance of a classic drive-in, with the requisite chrome and neon and carside service. speakers located around the building play rock, pop and motown classics from the 1950s through the early 1970s.
The food was good- the stock hamburger comes with a tasty sauce that adds a zing to the meat. While it was good, it wasn't really what I'd call great. The fries were fresh and hot, but not very crispy. The food's not bad, but the atmosphere is more impressive than the food.
The only real disappointment during my visit was that the food was served in paper bags, rather than on a tray. [05 Sep 2005 21:21:38]

Really cool Great Reuben's! the only down side is a slow service, but if you have a good 10 minutes time to wait, you won't be disappointed. [20 Sep 2007 23:04:06]
