Excellent Southern Cooking
The name of the place makes it sound like a very haughty French Restaraunt but it's really more like down-home Southern cooking.

The fried chicken is moist and a bit more heavy with black pepper which makes it a stand out.

They also make wonderful fried okra. Okra is a tricky thing to cook but these come out crisp and not at all slimy.

The only drawback is most dishes are very salty, which detracts from the more subtle flavorings.    [06 Sep 2005 15:55:26]
