What a Place Have been going there for about 10 years now and have never had a bad time or meal. This is how it should be done. If you don't give Billy's a try you are missing out. Nobody....NOBODY makes a better fajita dinner. [18 Apr 2001 13:59:54]

I Like It! We have been there more than 100 times in the year 2000, each time the bar tender made a mark on the napkin. We are now in Nevada and missing our friends, blind Peter, Nancy, Bill, Bob and Linda , The Reverend and many others. Don't forget:
In the event of a nuclear attack, Billy's will provide a open bar !

Good enough I'm not from Anoka; met some friends there on their suggestion. Good meeting place -- a separate bar from the restaurant, varied menu. The bar also has NTN trivia; good way to kill time if you need to. Right in the old downtown district; good to walk around and see some of the old shops if you're from out of town. Previous Server Recommended As a former server, I am fortunate enough to have the inside scoop. I worked at Billy's for over five years and although it was up and down at various points the food always held through. Once you get to know them, the staff will bend over backwards to help you out, and although the ambience may leave something to be desired for some, it is a perfect casual gathering place for small to large groups. The portions are large and the prices are low to median.
Food Recommended: Fajita's (simply the best, if you ask nicely I may consider hinting at the fajita sauce recipe) Prime Rib (Fri. and Sat. only) Chicken Fajita Sandwich (not on menu, made on request only) Any of the burger (All 1/2 pound!!) Any of the Chimichangas or burritos Chicken Mediterranean Wrap
Not Recommended: Ribs (some people love them, I say mediocre at best) French Dip (same as above, but I swear there is something strange with that beef) Philly Cheesesteak (same beef as French Dip) Potato Skins (Potatoes usually undercooked) Chicken Alfredo (Not bad, but bland) [17 May 2006 01:24:03]

don't go for brunch.... been here for brunch a few times never had good food. no bacon even though menu clearly said bacon. everything seems soggy, wet eggs, soggy danish, just over all not good food. maybe they should raise their price a little and actually have decent food. [13 May 2007 11:57:26]

Definitely Recommend Great casual atmosphere...we love to go for the late dinner menu...the wings are the best...the Santa Fe wings are great as well...the best onion rings I have had (delicious beer batter and thick onions)...the drinks are not that great...I stick to the beer. Greatest place in Anoka Billy's is the Midwest cheers without the East coast snobbery. Their food is always top quality for the dollar you spend. Its friendly atmosphere and decor (in the old Jackson St. Hotel) makes one feel immediately relaxed. Their drinks are well portioned and their bartenders talented. Karaoke on Fri & Sat 10pm to 1am. Sunday brunch is also very good and the quality is consistent for the buffet style offering. [14 Sep 2007 19:49:12]
Food: Service: Ambiance: Overall: Recommended Dishes: The Friday night Fish fry....broiled ot deep frried..all you can eat and the beer batter is perfect!
