Like Being in Monterey Outdoors with pounding waves below us, we munched on chips and salsa while enjoying the great views! Our server, Connie, was prompt, friendly, and attentive --- and the food was a pleasant surprise! Both of us favored chicken dishes -- enchiladas with a light sauce, a fried burrito that was just-right crunchy. We'll be back! Overall it reminded us of Monterey, at a Mexican restaurant on Cannery Row... [09 Jun 2006 19:32:32]

What Are They Thinking? I don't know where to begin. The hostess station was missing a hostess for about 10 minutes when we arrived on a Saturday evening at 7. When she arrived she said that it would be a 10 minute wait. Fine. During our 10 minute wait, it continued to get busier and the hostess said that the wait was at about 30-40 minutes to the approaching customers. Many of them turned away and opted to go elsewhere. When it came time for us to be seated we were shocked to find that the entire restaurant was empty except for the upper level where there were about 5 tables that were occupied. What!? They were telling people that there would be a 30-40 minute wait in an empty restaurant? This place is ridiculous. Our server was busy with the other 5 tables and didn't take our drink order for quite a while... The complimentary chips and salsa are a nice touch, however we were served a basket full of chip crumbs. How disappointing. Our order was finally taken and our food came. The food was decent. Nothing spectacular. I'm appalled that a place so big and neat looking will only accommodate 6 tables. Why not fill the place, hire another cook, 2 more waitresses and do some real business. They'll be gone in about a year. If that. [11 Oct 2006 14:52:09]
