We arrived at ten minutes after opening, We were met in the restaurant by a waitress and the manager who had his shirt open, tie untied at his neck and a hello after we said hello first. We asked if there was seating on the deck, and were escorted to the deck. After we found some chairs as they were scattered about we sat at a table and ordered our drinks. Only then, did we notice that our table was dirty. Really dirty, with dead bugs and dried food. Surely, our waitress would come and wash the table off for us. She did not, she brought our drink order, and we thought surely she would wash the table when she brought our salads,she did not. At that point I got up and taking my white linen napkin dipped it into my water glass and began to clear my table of dirt, bugs and dried food.    [17 Sep 2004 17:52:03]
