Pizza, Pizza, Pizza Probably the best pizza in Minnesota. I have yet to find a better pizza and doubt I will be able to! If you can bear the hour standing wait you will be rewarded with an incredible pizza. [26 Apr 2002 18:57:30]

Good service trumps good pizza I finally got through to place my order and was asked to call back later when they were less busy. Needless to say, I will never order from Red's Savoy again. [24 Apr 2003 12:14:32]

Patients brings good things... If you're high strung, I would highly NOT recommend Savoy's pizza. If, however you are of the ambient type and can relax, you will enjoy the worlds best pizza. Service is slow, however this happens in busy situations. The pizza is primarily what I eat there and it's incredible. WORTH THE WAIT. The high strung will probably never figure out that they can order ahead, pick it up and eat in their own home. Oh well, it IS a great place, have a cold one, relax! Average wait is 45 minutes to order. Pizza generally comes 30 minutes after that. [11 Jun 2003 20:49:11]

Greasy I walked up to the restaraunt to order after not being able to get through on the phone. After waiting another 45 minutes, I got the most under-cooked, thick, grease-laden, sorry excuse for a pizza. While I was waiting, one of the employees coughed into her bare hand then proceeded to cut the pizza without washing. [16 Sep 2004 12:54:46]

over rated For those who believe this establishment makes a quality pie you obviously have not been outside Minnesota. It bests chain outfits but does not even come close to many mom and pop places and certainly should not be mentioned next to the classic New York and Chicago pizzaria's! [14 Dec 2004 10:51:06]

Never had a bad experience at Red Savoy's... ...and the pizza is superb! Even though it is NOT conveniently close to my home in Mpls, I'm planning to go again this week. My only complaint about the place is the noise level, which is HIGH - at least it was when I've been there. [15 Aug 2005 20:04:37]

Wimps Need Not Try If you like it thick. Red's Savoy Pizza is the best in the twin Cities. Wimps need not try this pie. You gotta like it thick and spicy. If you want thin and spicy you have to try Mansettis. they have locations throughout the north metro. [20 Aug 2005 13:23:55]

Great pizza, tell them to hold the green olives I have had their pizza a few times and it is great. This is not chicago or new york so i will not compare it to those two vermin infested places. Unfortunately anyone can hire a bad cook and pm one occasion the pizza was almost inedible because he/she overloaded it with green olives. [23 Oct 2005 14:37:18]

Is this the Twilight Zone? Has the world lost its mind? Savoy's is not the best pizza in the world, not even the best in St. Paul. (Punch) Everything looks like it came from a can. The sauce has been cooked to death, cheese is cheap and greasy, and crust is ameteurish - like bad homemade pizza crust. The square slices are gimmicky and impractical. Better than pizza hut, but then again... [23 Feb 2006 00:33:37]
