Dissappointing Wedding Cake
We had Osseo Bakery make our wedding cake. I gave them a cake magazine to replicate the cake I wanted. When I saw the cake on my wedding day, it was the worst part of the whole night. It looked like a child made the cake and it was NOTHING like the cake they were supposed to have made. We provided them with a dancing couple to place on one of the tiers (the exact one from the magazine) and they were supposed to put a mound of frosting roses on the other tier. They couldn't fit the figurine on the cake for some reason and they didn't put the mound of roses on the cake either. The good thing about the cake was that it tasted good, but I would not recommend them for a wedding.    [29 Aug 2005 15:52:23]

Good food BUT Bad help!
I went into Osseo Bakery 2 weeks ago and again today to buy a 1/2 dozen mixed. Good donuts but the atmosphere was a not so friendly atmosphere. I use to go to the bakery as a child and remembered it being the best part of the day because the friendly smiles and wonderful smells was something to look forward to. Well I guess now it is just business as usual. Get in buy and leave. The lady in the pony tail was smiling at her customer I guess my helper just didn’t care if I was there or not. O My Goodness
The huge donuts are amazing!!! I already had or gave away 5, and I learned about them two weeks ago! They were so amazing my taste buds went to heaven with a side trip to paradise! The best donuts I have ever had is here at the Osseo Bakery!! Cookies are great, quick breads the best, and now with holiday things out don't stay away!! Try the peanut brittle, too.

Daughters 1st birthday cake
I ordered my daughters first birthday cake from Osseo bakery. We went in the Saturday before and I described what I wanted done. They said no problem. The owner called me and confirmed the order and gave a price. My party was the following Saturday. They called me FRIDAY night the night before the party and said they couldn't make it how I wanted it made they would do it another way...since the party was the next day I had no choice but to say ok. My husband went and picked up the cake the next morning before the party - brought it home and I about died when I saw it. It literally looked like a 5th grader made it. It was terrible. I was frantic and there was no way I would put that cake out at the table for everyone to see. I went to our local grocery store and had one made in 20 minutes that was beautiful ! Thank God ! I called Osseo and let them know my anger - she said someone would call me back and no one did. I wanted my money back and plan to write them a letter. We also tasted the cake for the heck of it and it was 100% tasteless !! VERY VERY DISATISFIED !!    [07 Mar 2007 12:09:06]
