Memorable--but who wants to?
Opening scene: pleasant. Greeted nicely, table at fireplace. Waiter was slow, but reserved.

Act 1. Request for additional salad dressing. Forgotten. Waiter was rude when asked again.

Act 2. Walleye fish-n-chips: two small pieces of overdone fish, basket full of cold, overdone, greasy fries. Crab cakes low on crab, high on blandness.

Act 3. Ribs so poor my wife didn't finish them, wouldn't take 'em home either. Bland, not bbq'd.

Act 4. "Apple crisp" was anything but... it was more like cooked oatmeal with apple slices in it.

Wonderful Place!!!
Refreshing to see such a great varied menu and very good food everytime I've been there. Chef is very accomidating and would address any oproblems if directed.    [09 Nov 2006 10:27:46]

Best Meal I Ever Had
I was in town for a job and only stopped by to try a local beer a contractor had suggested. I ended up ordering the special which was roast elk marinated overnight in orange and something. Amazing. Service was good, and the atmosphere was neat as well. I will be returning at least once before I leave. I even grabbed the specials menu as I left.    [09 Dec 2006 22:49:19]

Party of six dine in the bar. Its Saturday night and the place is empty. Service was excellent. Food was just OK. No blended drinks because they do not have a blender. We are told by the manager at 9:50pm. "Ok you time is up, you have to leave." The staff wants to go home.
