Part of the historic Palmer House Hotel, where Sinclair Lewis worked. Windows overlook the original Main Street. Fireplace and smoking in the Palmer House pub.

Food Rates Top Notch
We recently stopped by the Palmer House to have lunch on our way home from vacation. Although fairly busy we had the server with us as we sat down. The service was outstanding with our beverages served and the order taken almost immediately. The service from the kitchen was somewhat slow and it took about 20 minutes for it to show up.
It was well worth the wait as the food was excellent in both presentation and taste.    [11 Jun 2002 09:59:21]
