Timber Lodge Steak House. Great steak! Great fish too!
Great food and service. Even though Timber Lodge specializes in steak, we love the fish items on the menu too. We also enjoy Timber Lodge's beer "Timber Logger."    [07 Sep 2003 20:17:59]

Not so great service and average food
Went with a party of eight. Even though the reservation was made a few days in advance, we still had to wait for over half an hour to be seated. Other parties came in and were seated after only a short wait. I could understand a bit more if the staff was waiting for a large table to open up, but we ended up being seated at two separate tables. There was no apology from the hostess for the long wait nor the poor seating arrangement. Our server was pleasant but forgetful. Maybe he didn't feel the need to be attentive since the 20% gratuity, which was automatically added to the bill, served as a guarantee to him regardless of his below average quality of service. We found the food to be average and none of the eight of us felt this was a restaurant that warranted a return visit.    [28 Jan 2007 22:45:42]
