Home away from Home
I have enjoyed visiting The Old House Restaurant for many years. The way the Old House is nestled in historic Kimmswick really makes you feel like you are home away from home. The staff here is extremely friendly and they truly do make you feel welcome. The environment at the Old House is extraordinary as you seem to slip back in time to get a taste of how life was once lived as you dine and visit with friends in such a majestic cabin. The Old House Restaurant is my establishment of choice when I visit Kimmswick. If you want peace, go to the Old House. christmas party 2004
Our department at a large metro St Louis hospital planned a Christmas party at the old house restaurant in December 2004. Our table was not ready at the stated reserved time. Once we were seated our waitress was practically missing in action. My husband and I spent approximately $60.00 for dinner and a drink a piece which by itself is a little pricey, but we thought we were getting a superb experience. We were wrong. Our food was small in portion size, cold, cold, cold. The steak was tough and our waitress was a little irritated when we tried to express our dissatisfaction. Awsome Experience
