This place was excellent. It was certainly busy and happenin' on a Thursday night. I was there with 3 other friends, and everyone loved their meal. Our server was a super friendly and knowledgeable fellow. As someone who worked in the restaurant industry in the past, I am usually pretty harsh! The menu had entrees from all over Latin America. It had several traditional Mexican stand-bys, as well as many new dishes I had never seen. I wanted to try so many things. There was a drink menu which had several new and interesting drinks, also. I cannot recommend this place enough! [24 Nov 2003 14:55:51]

Wonderful dinner Went shopping at O'Malleys, picked up some nice Irish gifts, went next door to the Maya, had the best calamari ever, followed by a wonderful stuffed brisket. Way to go guys, hats off to the cook, it was amazing. [11 May 2005 15:11:38]

Please stay away This was the worst dining experience that I have ever had for the highest cost.
The menu had 10 entrees to choose from. Most of them involved tortillas, beans, and rice --variations on food from local Mexican fast food chains. What made them different from these other chains? The price only, which was increased by 200-300% for reasons that are unclear. The cuisine was described as Pan-Latin. If Pan-Latin means food from Mexico and Spain only, then there is truth in the advertising. Those were the only countries represented on the menu I received.
I ate in a room with a cardboard wall. Strangely, there was art on the wall opposite the cardboard. Perhaps they should have spent less on art, and more on walls.
At this already wonderful experience's end, I was given a to-go box with my food inside, and another's food on the outside. Several spoonfuls of guacamole appeared on the bottom of the box and on my hand as I tried picking it up.
I would not recommend eating here to my worst enemy. [15 Jul 2006 21:04:14]
