Horrible Service
We were in Steelville August 19-21. On Saturday night, we went into town for dinner. We stopped at Spare Rib Inn. We were told first thing, that they had no spare ribs, cole slaw, etc....Then we were completely ignored. No one offered to get us drinks or take our orders. There were 2 waitresses working. Great Place to Eat
Who cares if there are no spare ribs at Spare Rib Inn. That place was named in 1929. The rest of the menu is great, the service is great, an what waitress would want to wait on a group of people who are cranky because there are no spare ribs. Spare Rib is Great
In Steelville, most people just call it Spare Rib. The restaurant has been there forever. I know the owners and they are very clean and decent people. The waitresses work very hard and for the most part, do a good job. Spare Rib is not fast food. The prices are very affordable, and they don't try to be so fancy that you can't be comfortable. I eat there all the time and I have never gotten sick. If you go there a lot, and they get to know you, most of the waitresses will even remember what you drink and bring it to you as soon as you sit down.    [25 Apr 2007 00:22:50]
