Terrible service, do not go to this restaurant.
Last evening my friend and I went into this Waffle House and was introduced to possibly the worst service I have ever received. One other table was in use and the patrons were already served. I waited over 10 minutes to get service and was finally given a cup of coffee. We tried to order the special, waffle, eggs, toast, grits, bacon or sausage for $6.30 or so, were informed that we could not leave off toast and grits and get the special price, huh? No large problem, until service became nonexistant and rude when given. We were not checked on, no refill on coffee and when finally attention was given, the rude waitress informed me she had to make a pot, make a pot? Why would they not keep a pot on? It ended up with me telling the less than intelligent lady to bring me my toast and grits and charge me for the special. Upon receiving said items we left, leaving the toast and grits untouched and paid the special price, no tip. I will never step into that Waffle House again. My friend also informed me that a racial epithet was directed at me while leaving.    [24 Sep 2007 11:27:15]
