Best Home Cooking
When visiting Hattiesburg, go to Jerry's Food factory for lunch. It is conveniently locateed in the Cloverleaf Mall.Prices are reasonable $5 or$6 for every meal. It is a place where the locals go and you are assured it is southern cooking the way people in Hattiesburg like it because of the long lines for lunch.
The only problem I have had, after trying all their dishes, is the salt. On meats like baked chicken and grilled pork chops, the cooks are very heavy-handed with salt.    [10 May 2006 08:27:50]
