veal marsala
Best veal marsala in the country. Been to Parker house 7 times, ordered the veal 7 times. Never dissapointed. So excellent, dont dare trying anything else, even though my wife Sue says the filet is the best she has ever eaten.    [28 Jan 2006 10:34:14]

Almost Perfect... but not quite
I absolutely love the food at Parker House. I have never had a bad appetizer, entree or desert there. The service is also great. The restaurant is located in an old house, which is kind of a double edged sword. I think they were going for ambiance and privacy with the smaller individual rooms - the problem is they pack people in like sardines. I have been there four times - the first two times with a large party where we were in a room with only one other party. The other two times it was just me and my husband and we were wedged at a table for two tightly between other tables - no privacy and no elbow room. I had to squeeze into my chair the last time, I couldn't even pull it out all the way. I think this is the only problem with this restaurant. For what they charge, they could lessen the capacity a bit, I think. Just taking one or two tables out of a few of the rooms would do the trick.    [06 Feb 2006 21:33:19]
