Need a new manager for Tupelo
My family and I were having dinner at the restaurant and the first thing, a waiter spilled a tall glass of beer on me and thought it was real funny. There were seven of us. Everyone else had gotten their meals and were almost finished when the waitstaff came back and realized that they had not brought mine.

I was wet from the waist down with beer and they presented me with the bill. After calling the manager I was told they would note take anything off my bill for the lousy service of having beer all over me, plus the broken glass. This is not the service I get from Applebee's anywhere else. I don't expect free meals, but I do expect to be treated with respect.    [16 Jul 2007 13:30:22]

While I was looking for the number to this restaurant to ask about a lost cell phone I stumbled across this review and thought that I should tell about MY experience. While traveling across MS, myself and two friends (going to a convention in memphis that was postponed due to weather) stopped in on a Wednesday evening around 830pm. It seemed quite busy for a Wednesday (there were quite a few parties) but the staff seemed fairly in control. We were met politely at the door. It took a little over ten minutes to seat us. We were accomodated a booth, which impressed me. The service was good attentive without being over attentive a complicated order was delivered hot, timely, and correctly. I had their special which was a appetizer entree and desert deal they had going. My boneless wings were still crispy and not soggy. The cheeseburger I had was cooked perfectly seasoned well and the fixings were still fresh especially the lettuce and tomato. I will say that the desert that came with the deal was kind of skimpy with only half of a small glass filled with ice cream and it seemed as though the whipped cream on top was trying to make up for it. It took a bit longer than I cared for to get my check and pay out but was still impressive when my server had a table of over ten people who were very needy. Only complaints i had were a little untidy as if it wasnt being maintained throughout the shift. But it seemed as though the employees actually cared about my needs and wants which is, in my mind, most important.    [07 Feb 2008 15:39:10]
