Bistro on Main While Tupelo, MS is in the South and many people think everyone is redneck or white trash, some people do have food/travel experience. The Bistro on Main offers a different type of ambiance for Tupelo, however the food is nothing to gloat about. Taste wise, you can go to Harvey's or even Chili's and find something tastier. I can understand the owner's desire to bring a certain flair to Tupelo, but as a business owner and Chef, she knows you have to cater to the demands of the demographics. I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. Not to mention the Chef/Owner is not friendly. [26 May 2008 22:25:28]

bistro on main I would have to say different... My experiences with the bistro are wonderful. Being a bistro "regular" I would have to say I love it. Gia changes her menu regularly based on what the guests want. The food isn’t the same quality as you would get a Harvey’s or Chili’s--it’s better! Bistro to me is a place where I know that when I walk in I'm going to enjoy myself and have good food and wine and relax in a home like environment. To me, anywhere that you can have fine dining while watching the chef cook and see every aspect of how your getting taken care of is exciting. It’s definitely something that no other place in Tupelo does. [28 Jul 2008 09:53:29]

Bistro The Bistro is my favorite Tupelo restaurant for fine dining. The food is fabulous, and Giovanna and wait staff are very friendly and professional. I would say her dishes are as good or better than you would find at many of the best restaurants in larger cities. Her new location should be a plus, and I'm looking forward to going back!
