Best BBQ and sauce in the US. All pork and beef sliced not pulled. I used to live in Vicksburg but relocated to Lakeview, Ar. Really miss eating here. [10 Jun 2007 01:02:38]

Best BBQ Ever I recently moved away from Vicksburg to Texas. I grew up on Goldie's and there is no comparison at all to Goldie's. It's the best. [04 Oct 2007 14:29:42]

Unimpressed with the food Quick Report:
My family and I recently dined at Goldie's Trail and found the barbeque to be most unimpressive. The meats were fairly tender, but excessively greasy. After eating a bit, a large pool of orange grease was present on the plate. Yuck.
The beef and pork weren't very distinct in flavor; the stand out option for the entire table was the dry rub ribs, which I got at the reccommendation of our friendly server.
Wet ribs are also available.
We tried the potato salad, baked beans and french fries for sides and all were unimpressive. Not bad, just not good.
The meal was accompanied by a bountiful bowl of garlic bread, which was very good.
One diner reported that the sweet tea was just average.
Although our server was very sweet and attentive, I wouldn't return to this restaurant. Perhaps it's due to the subjectiveness of barbeque (as in, everyone think their hometown's is the best) but this was in no way 'world class barbeque' or anything close to it. [05 Jun 2008 11:18:23]
