Best Restaurant in Montana
We had the best meal of our vacation at Buck's--so good, we went back for more! The service is superb, the wine list huge and creative and the food was nothing less than stunning. The chef, Scott Peterson, came to our table to see how we were enjoying it, and we talked for some time. He and his cuisine are a bright, rising star that should not be missed.    [20 Jun 2003 16:41:25]

Best Meal Of Our Vacation
We just returned from a 2-week Montana/Wyoming trip and found the most amazing restaurant in Big Sky, MT. We ended up in Big Sky after a day in Yellowstone, and were just hoping for a decent meal and good night's sleep. We were blown away by the restaurant at Buck's T-4. My husband had a melt-in-your-mouth red deer with a a port wine sauce that could be used on ice cream. I had a juicy stuffed pheasant breast that was to die for. The atmosphere is authentic Montana, but the food is nothing short of world-class. What a great surprise we had. I can't remember having a better restaurant experience.    [01 Sep 2006 13:36:51]

A Great Meal
These folks know how to serve wild game at its best. A broad array of items is available with a variety of different preparation methods offered.
Service varies somewhat as they can handle large groups but get backed up in the kitchen sometimes. For us, a great experience, but the people at the table next door waited too long for their entrees. The decor is very unassuming, but there was not excessive noise or anything garish.    [03 Jan 2007 15:15:53]
