Just Average Mexican Cuisine
The new restaurant misses the ambiance of the previous building. While still festive of sorts, it lacks in charm from the previous design. The food is always hot, the wait staff friendly and helpful. In regard to taste, however, it could be best described as American-Mexican food and is in no way authentic. [27 May 2004 22:59:18]

Not acceptable service!
I have been to Dos Machos many times in the past few years, and I have always had good service. I will not be returning there after my visit today though. I had good service in the beginning, but then after we finished eating we had to wait a good 15 minutes for our table to be cleaned up and for our check. When I asked for the manager she never went and got him. After paying finally I had to go ask for a manager again, and about 5 minutes later he came over. The manager never asked where I sat or who my server was. I find this as very unacceptable. It is a shame they do not care about their customers. [29 Sep 2006 21:54:47]

Ok if you like American-Mexican
The food is and always has been bordering on boring. I have eaten there only when it is somebody else's idea.. I enjoy authentic Mexican, and Dos Machos is surely nowhere close to authentic.
The old building was better. That was the only part I used to enjoy about eating there. The new building is bland as the food served there.
Can't say much about the service. Can't remember anything remarkable good or bad. [23 Jan 2007 15:13:20]
