Sunday Brunches
I've only been to one, at my recent stay, so I don't know if this might be the normal setup. It seemed as if the brunch table was setup for more food, as they had some empty chafing dishes that were on the table but not lit. Being someone in the industry myself, seeing the omelette/waffle lady emptying bags of frozen i.q.f. berries into bowl at her station kind of turned me off, and just showed some lack of direction from the kitchen.

They are trying hard to get it right though, and with a little more work it may have turned out to be a really nice brunch buffet. The inclusion of scrambled eggs when you have an omelette station is a little odd also. Maybe I'm too picky. The food was semi-fresh when I went through, and again, me being picky, the fresh fruit could have had a few more selections than honeydew, cantelope, strawberries and cherries only.

Pretty standard brunch buffet fare with the rest, with no standout items. The only comment with service would be the observation that some of our party (about 18) had to go and wait at the servers station and ask for more coffee.    [06 Aug 2006 12:52:07]
