Really Good Food and Atmosphere The menu was full very different items. What I mean by that is a good selection of types of food. I ordered the Ox Tail Gnocci and it was delicious. I have never seen this type of food anywhere. [07 Jan 2007 16:18:34]

Urban feel, interesting food, great service Table feels more big city than small town. Clean lines, modern decor, and an open kitchen all create an environment that is unique in Asheville. Service is consistently stellar. The very knowledgeable staff universally knows how to be attentive but not bothersome (and no one has ever told me their name, thank goodness).
Food is consistently good. The menu is "interesting," by that I mean, if you are not at all adventuresome when it comes to food, steer clear; if you frequent Longhorn and Olive Garden you will be stumped here and probably not know what anything on the menu is. To a seasoned diner however, the dishes are pleasantly unique without being too weird, and it is refreshing to see interesting foodstuffs being served.
Quality is good - never had anything bad, but some dishes seemed slightly lacking occasionally. For the most part, consistently solid cuisine.
Portions are small, and prices while slightly high for Asheville, are reasonable for what the dishes are. If you are looking for a classy spot with a bigger-city feel, this is a great place to go. [27 Jan 2007 23:29:33]
