Among other things Sal's has great food! Great food, good service, and the best lamb on a buffet bar ever. [22 Sep 2002 16:20:22]

Food is Just So-So During my first visit the food was very good but I've been three times since and each time the food has been just so-so. I doubt I'll return for another visit. [31 Dec 2002 18:26:29]

Authentic Italian FOOD for the Family Whether I was with my entire family or it was just a nice night out with my husband, Sal's was always a delight. Sadly we've moved out of state and we miss our weekly visits to Sal's. The service was always good, the food was always just right and if you can make it to the Sunday Brunch, you'll be delighted. Misleading Information During Hurricane Isabel my husband and myself took refuge in Burlington. We went to Sal's for dinner. The dinner was very good and I have no complaint with the size of portions or service. I do, however, have a problem with the fact that our dinner, advertised as lump crabmeat over pasta, was really what is known as "sea legs" or fish that has been enhanced with crab flavoring. There is a big difference in sea legs and crabmeat. [22 Oct 2003 09:52:35]

Incredible! I used to eat there at least once a week, if not more! But now I've moved out of state - miss it soooo much! The best Italian food ever! And wonderful service! The owners are just first class! [02 Dec 2003 16:14:18]

Very Good Enjoyed Blackened Chicken over Penne Pasta Alfredo. Large portion, tasted great, quick seating but mediocre service. Visited on Sunday with after church crowd. [09 Jun 2004 19:12:21]
