Go Moose Hunting on Carolina Beach
One of the most wonderful tastes in the world can be found right in the best vacation spot around! I first tasted moose tracks (hand dipped ice cream) in 1999 right after hurricane Dennis came through. We rode out the storm just so we could get squiggled at Squigley's! We still remember our trips to Squigley's from almost two years ago. A short walk over from Lucille's Motel (where we stayed), our little visits to Squigley's was a highlight of our stay! Big Deal!
The ice cream is ok but somewhat expensive. Guess your paying for the genius who came up with the idea to mix with a stick and call it squiggled.

Just go to Mcdonalds and get a McFlurry.

Best of In Carolina Beach

Amazing!!!
My mother, being a North Carolina resident her whole life, has visited Carolina Beach since 1952, and the best Ice Cream she's had was at Squigley's the summer of 2005. It was the best Ice Cream EVER!!!

Squigley's interior was amazing as well; a little old man set off in the corner has made homemade fudge since the 40's and continues to do a perfect job. The interior is also full of historical touches.    [01 May 2006 03:30:25]

If you have not been squiggled....
You are truly missing out. A great treat from some of the rest of the icky food the island offered us. I loved this place and wish it was down the street from me as I feel like I am detoxing from the squiggled taste. If you are visiting you must stop at this place. They not only have a great view and awesome ice cream that makes Ben and Jerrys head spin, but they also have a wonderful gift shop.
