This Place is Great!
I love this place. The bar manager, Chris Quady, is the coolest guy you'll ever meet. So what if the food is not presented in five-star fashion, it's pretty good, and the music is always top-notch. This little restaurant has found a unique niche in a world of Applebee's conformity, and should be checked out only by those wanting a good conversation with some friends you haven't met yet.    [08 Nov 2002 01:36:50]

Nice Bartenders

We love this place
The Back 9 is a great place to watch the Steeler's on Sunday - cheap beer, 1/2 price appetizers, and lots of fun football plans. Get there early, though, if you want a seat!

Good Food
Overall this is a great place to hang out and eat some good food. The only bad thing is the smoke.. I hate leaving the place and smelling like a cigarette.

I know this is a smoking bar, but there are others who don't.

love this place .
i dont live in cary but travel often from India .. i was introduced to this place by a friend who has been a regular since forever. I love the place for its ambience, a noisy bar just like it want it to be ... it also has a wireless connection , just in case you want to catch up with some work you didnt finish because you wanted to be at back 9. the girls are pretty and very hospitable .. music is mostly classic rock , another reason for me to hang around .. place seems to have a lot of patrons . have never found it empty even on weekdays .    [29 Sep 2006 03:18:15]
