Bob Evans Restaurant, Cary NC Please change your menu so that it does not misrepresent what is being ordered. Today, Oct 3, 2001, my husband, daughter and I had lunch at the Cary NC facility.
My order from the "over 55" section was Chicken and Noodles w/rolls at $4.99. When it came,I had 2 rolls and a bowl of chicken noodle soup. If I had wanted soup, I'd have preferred The Olive Garden where they have as much as you want and a very "gracious" ambiance.
I did not complain to the waitress nor ask her to take the food back. I thought perhaps I had read the menu incorrectly. Later, I asked for a menu. There was no indication that what I ordered was going to be soup. Before leaving I informed the manager that the menu was incorrect and should be changed. He knew about the problem--the waitress must have told him. He told me I should have returned it. As I said before, I thought I'd misread the menu and did not want to cause a "fuss". He finally offered to pay for my lunch an offer I refused.
I hope that you are aware of the error in either your menu or your food.
There are many very good restaurants in the Cary area. If Bob Evans wants to compete, they had better be more aware of the customer's needs.
The "soup" I had was not worth the $5.00.
Needless to say, I did not enjoy lunch.
