Eat Here For An Excellent Meal
Stonewood offers a wide variety of excellent food! And not only that, every meal I've had at Stonewood has been a piece of culinary art. What A Joke
Are you serious? This restaurant just can't get it right. We have been twice and the food and service has always been mediocre at best. (No, for the time we waited awful!)

Excellent Bartender

Food, service and wine were all top-notch.
We enjoyed everything we ate and drank, and our server was very attentive and knowledgable. We were the last customers in the restaurant on a Sunday night and none of the staff seemed to be chasing us out. Definitely not a place we can afford to go to on a regular basis, but we will definitely return. Looking forward to trying the new location in North Raleigh.    [12 May 2005 12:32:34]

Live Jazz and excellent food/service
My wife and I went to Stonewood grill & Tavern in Cary last Tuesday for the first time. It was AWESOME. Not only was the service exceptional but the food was outstanding. They also have live jazz every Tuesday and Saturday Night. I had the steak and my wife had the Grouper. I can honestly say that it was the best steak I have ever had in my life. The restaurant is all non-smoking too. I rarely give such praise to a restaurant, but Stonewood Cary hit the nail on the head.    [14 Oct 2005 00:34:30]

Got Sick!
Had dinner here 10/27/06 in Cary, NC with a group of 28 people. The waiter was friendly, but the service poor. We were offered no bread, and 30 minutes into the wait asked if we could have some. A basket came with one demi tasse piece for each. My steak came cooked incorrectly and the wrong potato choice. My husband ordered coffee which never came and we were billed for it. It took more than 10 minutes to get it corrected and then no one came for the card to pay. I went to the front hostess to get some help with this. We were there from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

To add insult to injury I got so sick when I got home, which continued through the next day. I called to explain the situation to the person in charge and they were couteous and said they were sorry, but no thoughts to even saying come in for a free dessert for all your troubles. Yes this was a large pary, but if they can't handle it don't take the reservation.
