The ONLY Real Pizza Downtown
We moved to Chapel Hill from New York, home of great pizza on ever corner. Until we found Franklin Street Pizza, we did not feel at home. This place ROCKS! Also try the pasta and salads. Excellent!    [11 Aug 2003 15:49:37]

My Favorite Place on Franklin
I've been in Chapel Hill for 6 years. I moved down here from New York for 4 years of undergrad at UNC-Chapel Hill, and I have been here working for two years. Best Pizza in Town
I have tried every pizza joint in Chapel Hill / Carrboro and none of them come close to Franklin St Pizza. Their pizza is the closest to NY style that I've had in the south.    [14 May 2005 19:56:04]

Easily the Best
This place is a bargain. The ingredients are fresh and top quality (Boar's Head meats and cheeses). You WILL NOT get better pizza in Chapel Hill. Especially for such reasonable prices.    [26 Jun 2006 12:20:29]

Amazing Pastas!!

I know everyone here has raved about the pizza, but I think the pastas are FANTASTIC!!! I've had the angel hair with shrimp- this was SO good that it was hard to make myself go there and not get it- but I did, and I tried the spaghetti with red clam sauce- this was AMAZING. It was super garlicky and a little spicy. Also, the prices are extremely reasonable. This is not a place where you will be served at the table, you order at the counter and they bring your food.
