Amazing. Living on a student's budget in Durham, NC is made wonderfully easier by Bali Hai. The food is just what you want, because you prepare the individual bowls to your own taste, and the spices (which you also choose) are amazing whether spicy or sweet. You can completely change your order every time you go, so it's hard to get tired of it. Overall, wonderful. [26 Oct 2006 23:10:57]

A Family Favorite What's great about this place is:
1) Very fresh, crisp stirfry;
2) Everybody gets exactly what they want.
You go in, pick a sauce, then pick out a bowl of veggies & meat for them to stirfry. They do the work, and you get to eat it. Yum!
At home, I can't add eggplant or tomato to our stirfries, because nobody else likes that. So I always put lots of eggplant and tomato in my Bali Hai stirfry.
But why did they name a "Mongolian" restaurant after a Southeast Asian tropical island?! [13 Aug 2007 22:36:33]
