Blah! Food is overcooked, bland, off-the-mark, not creative and lacking in color and texture. Service is horrendous and turns over more than the student body! [19 Jun 2002 13:45:53]

wow! Expensive, but worth it. Friendly and fast service, delicious fresh seafood, and amazing dips! I love the decorative tables. . . [25 Aug 2002 14:28:41]

One of my favorite places I've been three times and the food has been great every time. The service has always been good, but it was great the last time. Very unique and interesting menu. I always have a hard time deciding because it all sounds good. [29 Aug 2002 11:15:55]

Au contraire--Blue corn always shines First visit was when it first openned, with the usual new restaurant kinks. Something told me to try again, and in the past few years, I have found that the food is always high quality and served attractively and in great abundance. Creative, attractive, and delicious dishes--a local favorite. [29 Sep 2002 16:02:42]

Best on 9th This is no doubt the best food one can get on 9th Street along with a nice small restaurant feel. Skip George's and go straight here. It's not inexpensive, but if you're looking for good food it's more then worth it. [27 Apr 2003 17:16:50]

Blue Corn Is Great I love the food at this place! Service can be a little slow at times, but it is definitely worth the wait. Everyone should give this place a try. [18 Mar 2004 17:35:29]

Pricey, But Good What I love about this place is that it isn't your usual Tex-Mex Hispanic sort of food, but instead offers a wider range of Latin-inspired dishes. I particularly like some of the Cuban stuff, and the paella.
What I don't love: it's overpriced for what you get.
But I have always gotten excellent service there, and always leave feeling happy. [13 Aug 2007 22:44:41]
