Awesome food but horrible service. Waitresses are rude and overall unhelpful and mean. Food makes up for it though. Never had a bad meal there. [21 May 2003 16:35:37]

Awesome Food Food is always good, service usually good, and management excellent. But you have to pay extra to eat at the bar, what's up with that? [15 Jun 2003 17:57:42]

Our Favorite Place in Town! Better than any seafood at the beach! This is where we go for a great atmosphere, excellent food and we have always had great service!
Plan to wait on the weekends and especially military pay days. It is worth it though...we always enjoy the wait with the fantastic Bloodies in the bar! [05 Aug 2003 12:23:15]

Do You Love Seafood? If you love seafood, you've got to give this place a try! Growing up on the Florida coast & moving to the Sandhills, I've always found finding good seafood very difficult! The food here is tremendous! Though plan on waiting a while - they have a raw bar and a regular bar to help pass the time away. But in a military town you'll wait anywhere, especially on paydays! Service was mediocre. I love the oyster shells that they use as "mulch" around the backside of the building! Great idea! [30 Dec 2003 09:52:19]

The Oysters Rock! We usually eat at the 316 Oyster Bar once a month at least. We always get a dozen raw oysters and the snow crab legs. We have never had a bad meal at the 316. The call ahead seating is a nice feature, the only down side to it is that your whole party has to be there before they will seat you. [03 Dec 2004 16:33:55]

Ahoy Mate! This is definitely THE BEST seafood restaurant in and around Fayetteville. It is also one of our very favorite places to go, the food is always excellent and the staff is great. Bar prices are very reasonable. [11 Mar 2005 20:15:47]
Food: Service: Ambiance: Overall: Recommended Dishes: everything - fried oysters and the blackened salmon

The Crusty Crab I agree with the other about the wait staff- especially the hostesses(Very Snobby). The food is great and the atmosphere is very nice....Need more seating in the lobby considering the number of patrons who frequent the establishment. Prices are a bit on the high side, so unless it's a special occasion, the average Joe will will opt for a more afforable place to grab some crabby patties. So when you consider that Fayetteville has only a handful of places that don't only serve fried dishes...I guess it does seem like a gem! [28 Jul 2005 18:14:09]
