The Oysters Rock!
We usually eat at the 316 Oyster Bar once a month at least. We always get a dozen raw oysters and the snow crab legs. We have never had a bad meal at the 316. The call ahead seating is a nice feature, the only down side to it is that your whole party has to be there before they will seat you.    [03 Dec 2004 16:33:55]

Ahoy Mate!

The Crusty Crab
I agree with the other about the wait staff- especially the hostesses(Very Snobby). The food is great and the atmosphere is very nice....Need more seating in the lobby considering the number of patrons who frequent the establishment. Prices are a bit on the high side, so unless it's a special occasion, the average Joe will will opt for a more afforable place to grab some crabby patties. So when you consider that Fayetteville has only a handful of places that don't only serve fried dishes...I guess it does seem like a gem!    [28 Jul 2005 18:14:09]

Those hushpuppies...mmmm
This is hands-down the absolute best seafood in and around Fayetteville. The hushpuppies were beyond words...absolutely amazing. I actually dreamed of them a few nights ago HA! The grilled Tilapia is undoubtedly the best I have ever had. I'm traveling to Fayetteville from Washington, DC in a few days just to eat at the Oyster Bar. It's so good!    [23 May 2006 13:39:23]

Best in Town
316 is the best seafood place in town. Sometimes the wait staff can be disappointing (depending on who you get) but the food is def worth it. Nice atmosphere.    [10 Aug 2006 13:10:09]

I have been there at the bar a few times for drinks and snacks. The oysters are always fresh and the service at the bar is warm and friendly.

I took my wife there on her birthday for dinner. The service (Brenda was our server) was excellent and so was the meal. We both had the lump crab meat special. It was a nice relaxing atmosphere, and even when it got busy, we were not rushed. Food was great, Brenda was delightful.....we will be back!!!!!    [18 Aug 2006 20:19:00]

SOMETHING STINKS!
I work out of town a lot and i have been in Fayetteville for about 2 mos.

Food is great, BUT the service stinks...twice they have charged my credit card twice and told me it was declined. Not only have i been embarrassed i had no cash on me so i had to borrow the money....to find out i have then paid twice for the meal. Its good food BUT NOT THAT GOOD!    [07 Dec 2007 09:32:34]
